Motivation
The operating costs of technical equipment represent an enormous cost pool in public buildings. In order to properly operate and maintain their facilities, the public authorities must therefore allocate large sums of money each year in the budget. Economic operation, e.g. by minimising energy consumption or optimising component service life, as well as ensuring supply and operational reliability, can only be guaranteed if the budget is planned correctly and made available to those responsible.
Objective
The aim of the research project is the scientifically based analysis of dependencies and existing influencing factors for a sustainable improvement of the accuracy and precision of budget calculations. For this purpose, a practicable procedure is to be developed that enables those responsible to easily determine the cost or personnel requirements necessary to operate the plants.
